Internet

Over the last few years the Internet connection we have had, has just been rubbish. Since moving here we have tried three different companies but the Internet connection is sooooo slow. Nine times out of ten, we just give up after waiting ages for web pages to load or the connection just breaks all together.

Around a year ago I looked into joining BT who said they couldn't offer us any better than we have. I love it where we live but Internet wise we live at the edge of the phone exchange which means we have the weakest connection. Over the last few months we have watched BT do work around the area renewing cables so I thought I would give them a call last week and just ask what they could offer us now.

For those that know me I'm not very technical and don't know the terms that are right when it comes to Internet knowledge, I just know I want the Internet and I want it to work!! Well lets see if you can understand what I'm trying to say... With BT, a customer can receive up to 20MG speed, we get 3.5MG... you might think that that is rubbish but that is fantastic compared to what we have received up until now!!!

Tonight for the first time when going on my friends Jen's blog http://jengrantmorris.blogspot.com/, I waited only seconds for her blog to load instead of ages. (As said nine times out of ten I give up and turn the computer off after waiting sometimes up to an hour (if Jen has posted a look of pictures))

I have until tonight normally checked friends blogs, checked and sent emails and shopped on line on a Thursday on my mobile at the swimming pool using their WiFi!!
