Does it ever end?

The time is now 9.40pm and I've just made myself sit down to do some long over due entries on our blog. As I'm sitting here I'm thinking how my day/evening has gone. We have had a really good day, been out to one of our local lakes to have a picnic, went swimming and then had some friends over for dinner tonight. Nice day i can hear you say... yes it has been a really good day. But what comes after the kids are finally in bed. Very unusually for us, the children went to bed later than normal as we had friends over, which started our clean up later.

Paul is outside with the girls as they are sleeping in the tent, so this is how my evening cleaning up has gone... Firstly i sort out the laundry and put a wash on, then was the first load of dishes, clean the table, vacuum the dinner room floor, tidy and clean the first two kitchen sides, move on the living room to put away all the toys, than on to the hallway and tidy up there moving the swimming bags upstairs to sort out in a minute or two, move on to the downstairs toilet where i need to clean the sink as Megan was a little to happy with the form soap early on, at this point thought i would just check Ethan, walked into his bedroom which had a awful smell - he was sleeping in a pool of sick all over his bed and him!!!, now this adds to my jobs, wake him, undress him, bath him, clean his bed, put him back into his bed, wash all the sick of his bedding/PJ's/bears etc., clean the bath, move onto the upstairs hallway just to move the bag from early on, back downstairs, put the first lot of dishes away, wash another load, vacuum the toilet/hallway/living room... by this point I've had enough, so here i am sitting on the sofa on the computer, looking around me, there is still one loads of dishes to be done, a few toys on the sofa, all the sick things to be washed, the swimming bags to still be sorted out, the kitchen floor to be mopped and the ironing for church.

Does it ever end? There is always one load of laundry to do, toys to pick up etc etc etc.
