Our first Geo cache

Paul has wanted to try geo caching for a while, so finally on a wet cold windy day, we went to find our first geo cache. To find out more about geo caching http://www.geocaching.com/

Well the girls loved it, they said we were going treasure hunting and thought it was great to find their little box of treasure. The whole idea behind geo caching is to help people get out into the county side and enjoy walks with a bonus at the end. When you find the geo cache, you have to fill in the log book and then take an item and replace it with another. I guess i have not explained it really well so just visit the site to found out more. It was a lovely muddy walk which the girls loved. I enjoyed it, they enjoyed it and so did Paul. An all round enjoyable activity for the family.
