Our car hasn't been washed in months, and believe me it looked bad, dirty wasn't the word. So i decided that we needed to go and get it cleaned. After seaching for hours for a car wash that was cheaper than around £10 (around here all the car washes are hand wash ones only), i decided that we would have a family activity in car washing. You might think that this would be more hassel letting the girls wash the car, than just paying the £10, but i can tell you it was well worth it. First of all when you are on a budget that is tight enough as it is, spending £10 on the car is a lot. Plus within a day or two of school runs the car would look the same, as there is massive building work going on by the school so everyones car gets mud and dust on from the road. Secondly, the kids loved it, we bought them their own sponges and as you can tell from the pictures they loved it. Of course the car didn't really look any cleaner, (paul cleaned it when the kids went indoors)but they laughed trying. They wet themselves, each other, paul and me. I really see this being a new summer activity for the girls.
